    Supporting Sport & Extra-Curricular Activities

    Because we understand the importance of extracurricular activities and appreciate the benefits of participation for our students, it is essential that we provide the best possible opportunities at Calday Grange Grammar School. In order to continue to do this we have launched the Calday Support Fund.

    In this time of reducing education budgets and financial cost pressures, we will be unable to continue to offer the full range of activities without your help and support.

    We are working with the Charities Aid Foundation and are using their online payment platform to enable parents and supporters of the School to make one-off or regular payments via debit/credit card, PayPal or direct debit.

    If you are a taxpayer, the School is able to claim Gift Aid on your donation, which would have the impact of increasing a £5 regular monthly donation to £6.25.

    We are suggesting that parents and supporters sign up to make a regular donation of just £5 per month; however, we are grateful for your support however large or small and one-off donations can be accepted.

    Any funds raised will be used to directly support Sport and Extra-Curricular activities including, but not limited to:

    • Combined Cadet Force;
    • Duke of Edinburgh Award (school incurred costs in excess of payments received from parents);
    • School Sport – we do not charge students for travel to play at away fixtures or for the cost of additional specialist sports coaches;
    • Music and drama activities, productions and concerts;
    • Robotics and coding club;
    • Lunchtime activities and clubs.

    We will not use these funds to support the general running of the school or for any activities that are funded by a separate funding source.

    Please click the button to set up your voluntary donation and you will be directed to the Charities Aid Foundation website.
