Male voice choir concert tickets available, the main proportion of the proceeds to go to the school charity Refilwe.
The Rotary Club of Heswall are staging a male voice choir concert on Saturday May 31st at 7.30pm in Heswall Hall. Last year a similar concert was a sell out, so tickets must be purchased early. Heswall Rotary have kindly decided that the main beneficiary of the proceeds will be Refilwe, the orphanage in South Africa that Calday supports. The money raised will help Refilwe directly in many ways, including giving abandoned babies a home to live in and enabling disabled children to attend school. Tickets are £15 from Mervyn on 0151 342 3410.

Come along and see a Spectacular Firework display to celebrate Chinese New Year and welcome the Year of the Horse!
*** latest update - despite the weather we will be going ahead with the display at 7pm!***
The display will start at 7:00pm on Friday 31st January 2014, on the school playing fields, opposite the main school entrance on Grammar School Lane.
Entrance to the display is FREE for all, students, staff and their families are welcome to attend, tickets are not required.
Welfare of local residents is a primary consideration, to minimise congestion on the night we would ask those attending to approach the school on foot. Limited parking will be available in the school grounds. If travelling by car we would encourage family and friends wherever possible to car share, your co-operation and help is greatly appreciated.
We also have a limited supply of tickets for light refreshments and pre firework display performances. An allocation of tickets will be distributed to students via the Chinese department and to local primary schools via our Outreach programme. Staff and their families are welcome to join us for a selection of dim sum and Chinese tea served in the dining room from 5:45pm, followed by performances from Kung Fu and Lion Dancing display teams in the school hall.
