Booking

Pre booking is essential, please use the application form to the right of this page to express an interest in one of our courses.   Courses run for six weeks and cost £40 per student (glove included).  You will be contacted by a member of the enrichment team and advised of the earliest availability.   Places are limited to 12 students per course.

Once your place has been confirmed a payment option will be added to your parent pay account. Due to the high demand for places payment of course fees are due at least 1 week prior to the start of a course.  This will allow time to ensure all 12 places are taken up.  Your cooperation in paying fees promptly is greatly appreciated.

What to wear

We provide jackets, a foil weapon and masks,  you will be allocated/fitted for your jacket and mask prior to the start of your course. All fencers will be given their own glove which is incldued in the cost of a course.

We suggest beginners wear :-

a T shirt (under the fencing jacket)
strong flexible trousers, jeans are better than tracksuit bottoms
trainers

Bring a drink preferably water to maintain hydration – fencing is a thirsty sport!
Refrain from wearing any hair or skin products to maintain the hygiene of masks

Note that if glasses are worn they will fit under the mask
