Students art exhibited at Lady Lever Art Gallery

The work of 17 Calday Art students is being showcased in the exhibition.

The Lady Lever Art Gallery invited Wirral secondary schools to apply for the opportunity to display Artwork from their students in the Fresh Perspectives: Art from Wirral Schools Exhibition. Calday, along with Birkenhead School, Upton Hall, Bebington High and South Wirral High School were the schools selected by the Education, Curatorial and Exhibitions teams at National Museums Liverpool.

The biennial exhibition provides the opportunity for creative students to showcase their Art, Design and Textile work in a national Gallery setting. The exhibition now in its 4th year is a fantastic way for Wirral secondary schools to share the work of their talented students with the wider community and has continually gained more popularity with visitors and the local press.

The work of 17 Calday Art students is being showcased in the exhibition. The Fresh Perspectives exhibition runs from 29 March to 6th May 2019 and entry is free.
